From the first moment I moved in I was shocked by the excessive noise. Loud parties, people screaming in the streets and arguing at all hours of the evening and early morning, cars racing through the development, motorcycle engines revving, etc.

Should one decide to complain to management, one's complaints will simply be dismissed by uncaring personnel. In other words, the "rules" of the apartment complex - which are set forth in a handbook - are not enforced.

While apartments are spacious and were relatively clean, hallways are often filthy and laundry rooms are worse.

Colonial Village needs new management. Until CPM realizes this, things will only get worse.

I can confirm this. Colonial Village is also violent with a murder in 1993 and a mugging of two men about two months back making the newspapers. There seems to be a drug element here. And the noise is totally out-of-control. The property manager ignores complaints from the elderly and disabled in my opinion.

i have to agree about the rules. We complained about parking, it is horrible in our building and people have their friends and family park there. We complained and we told "management can not control what people do" so in other words there is no rule enforcement
