DON'T MOVE HERE
From: -Anonymous-Date posted: 1/29/2008
Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2006
I have lived here for a few months and have had nothing but problems. So far:
1. when I moved in the apartments was a mess and very dirty, screens didn't fit in the windows, broken wood on doors, closet door were haning on- I wanted to move out the first day I moved in!
2. If you are looking for safety this is not the place. Young teens form groups and walk around staring at you the entire time especially outside by the clubhouse. I often wonder when my car will be vandilized. A week after I moved a man was shot in building 15. And there is A LOT of section 8 which I didn't realize until I moved in here.
3. NOISY- I don't get more than 5 hours of sleep a night. The family that is a few apartments away ( that is bad when I can STILL HEAR them) they have children that jump up and down literally until 10 PM then I wake up from the people upstairs who work a late schedule- so I am up at 3AM and all they are doing is walking around- that is how poorly this place was made- here is the funny part- complain to the office and the response you will recieve is- the building is 20 years old what do you expect. The girls in the office are a piece of work and useless, i know this for certain.
4. The appearance is dirty- as you walk into the building the mail box area has broken windows and rust on the door.
IF you are looking for a nice place to relax when you come home this is not it. I am actually more comfortable at my place of employment than I am here, that is sad.
I understand that when you live in an apartment building you are bound to hear noises here and there but when you can hear your neighbors having a conversation- it's not so great.
