Disabled Iraqi War Vet can't hang an American flag!!! Yep - that's right...and that's just a piece of the absolute CRAP that goes on here! When I moved in a year ago, I had to do a background, credit, and reference check as well as prove that I made over 35000 dollars annually. Okay...no problem-means nice decent hard-working people will be here and that was the case until the worthless manager ------ took over with her little minions in the office. Here are the problems since then: safety is gone as they had to HIRE THE POLICE to patrol the area because of the SCUM they let move in here. Someone smeared ketchup all over the hallway doors, someone poured hot sauce in one of the three washing machines downstairs and it was left unserviced for a few days. The office staff is AWFUL - they are mean and sneaky. They kill trees in order to provide "NOTICES" to "Bad residents..." I got a notice in my door for hanging ONE towel over my balcony (I had given the dogs a bath). They said it was "unsightly". It's now part of my permanent file. As of June 6th, residents are no longer allowed to have floormats in the hall way. This is because, according to the staff, it inconveniences the cleaning people. Therefore, we should not be forced to worry about the condition of the carpets when we leave. Oh, and almost the worst thing was that two days ago (June 6th), there were cars being towed WITHOUT NOTICE from the parking lot. The girl from the office and a maintenance man actually walked around and physically inspected all the cars for registration. (oh by the way, the girls that work here, also live here, and they drive the 100 feet to their office.) Another issue is that they enforce SO RIGIDLY the rules on everyone else, like the registration - when someone complained, the girl said "it's in your lease". This same girl flies through the parking lot, in which small children play, disregarding their safety, and her lease rules. Also, I was running and fell into a huge pothole (one the hundreds that exist on this private poorly maintained place). I sprained my ankle, which has turned into a worse injury as there is now fluid around the joint due to this. Further, there are NO handrails (is that legal''') to the entrances of the buildings. This was almost murderous to an elderly woman who fell during the winter on the ice that they did not bother to rid the parking lot of. It is expected that dog feces should be cleaned up, however, the office staff makes lots of noise about it and yet let their dogs go where ever they please, leaving little rat dog feces everywhere.

This whole flag thing just really chaps me you know' We are two war veterans and are not allowed to hang flags on our balcony. What''' Isn't there an amendment that allows us to do just that'')

Oh, and don't believe their lies about the air conditioner cooling the entire place. We are not even able to sleep in our room because it is so hot - and he a/c only cools the living room and the dining area. They ASSURED when I moved in, that it would cool all of it. Um - NO. This place is a joke, it is awful, the girls are horrendous and have horrible. It's like highschool - we were at starbucks and the girls were inside whispering and gawking - these are awful human beings and I hope Fairfield Properties is not aware and unwilling to do anything. I will be contacting them to see.

Wow, well I will tell you, ------ is a RUDE. You smile at her and you ruin her whole day -seriously, I can't tell you one time she was decent to me or my husband). The other two, that live here, break ALL the rules (speeding, the dog pooping rule, smoking and leaving them). The manager ------ never responded to my letter requesting they call me about my injury, my thirty day lease, and the potholes (AGAIN). I highly suggest you THOUROGHLY READ YOUR LEASE. My husband did, and made ------- look stupid because she was the one that said having unregistered cars will be towed (the lease says they have to provide you with 48 hours WRITTEN notice and a sticker on your car), none of which was done. What do you mean they kept you in the dark about their discussions? Surprise, surprise...GHETTO. When I leave here (next month, thank GOD), I am standing in the street warning people with signs....seriously.

Don't forget about the mold in our washing machine. My kids have breathing problems and they can't maitnence the washing machines in the building. It also takes them months to fill in the pot holes. Then when they go to fix them they do not even give us a notice stating that they are going to be digging up our roads, but they can send us a ntice statubg we can not have door mats and all this other bull ----.
