We have only lived here for 10 months and that is 10 months to long. They change the rules daily and make them up as they go. They also keep changing management companies and each one gets worst. Not only is the office staff full of bitchy females, they are unreasonable and unwilling to assist. It is fair to point out too that the staff lives here and none of them follow the rules that they expect you to live up to and will fine you if you don't. Also expect the fire alarm in your building to go off at least once a quarter and by the way it will not shut off until the fire department arrives. Very pleasant when one is trying to sleep. These apartments are mostly section 8 tenants as well as drug dealers. Always a fight in the parking lot with the police to follow. If you have any choice to live somewhere else I highly recommend it for your safety, peace of mind, and your mental health.

Wow, way to judge lower income people. Just because someone is on Section 8 doesn't make them a bad person.
Sounds like you need the attitude adjustment.

Whatever, if you have the choice to live with section 8 or without section 8, I wonder which one you would choose. How is it fair that I have to pay full price for rent for the same crap hole, when the noisy, stay at home mom next-door, who fired out a couple of trophies before she hit the age of 21, gets almost a free ride? As her kids cause a raucous wherever they go. Man, if I only made the same bad choices as her.

Do you envy the single mom who can't make a living with out state assistance? And how is it the apartment community's fault that your state and federal governments decided that people should receive assistance if they have a lower income than you? You should be glad you made the right choices and can AFFORD to pay what you do. Not be thinking that you should be an unemployed single mother. Did you ever think that maybe they were raised the same way. Brought up by their own single unemployed mother, and were born into an underpriveledged world, where their family (if they had one) wasn't able to afford to send them to college so they could get a decent education = decent paying job...? Take time to reflect on what you are taking for granted. They do not choose to be on Section 8. They are having a difficult time in their life beyond their control and the government stepped in to help them. Would you rather see a mom on the side of the road digging through trash cans with 3 kids standing beside her waiting for her to pull out dinner? That is what happens in most other countries. Try to be grateful that your government can help take care of people here.
