I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I rent one of the townhouses and I have had numerous issues since moving in four months ago. First of all, this place was not cleaned or painted after the previous tenants moved out. It took me over a week to clean this place so I could move my stuff in, and this place still has a funky odor to it. I ended up purchasing cabinets for the kitchen because the cabinets smell awful inside (even after cleaning them three times). It was obvious that they didn't clean because I found a box of beef jerky in one of the bottom cabinets, and there was a brown film (smokers must have lived here) over everything. When you first walk in place this funky smell hits you, not sure where it is coming from whether it is the carpets or the neighbors next door.
I've had water in my attic since December, which they have yet to take care of - they are waiting until this Spring to address the issue. So during the holidays I had water coming down my walls and onto my carpet on the first floor. Instead of taking care of the issue when I first called them, they are waiting for the mold to take over then they will address the problem. Speaking of water issues, I had to have my washer and dryer replaced because the washer leaked all of the floor, and the dryer didn't work.
I have told them, on numerous occasions, not to enter my home unless I am present, and they have entered twice without my permission or my presence - a clear violation of the lease.
My neighbor's washing machine leaked into my apartment and onto the rug in my living room. I have plastic under all of my furniture because of the water coming from the attic and my neighbors apartment. I must say it looks very classy when I have company visiting.
I cannot wait until it gets hot outside, the A/C units they have in the apartments have not been maintained so the filters are clogged with dirt. Plus they have black mold inside of them, so I have covered them with plastic film. There is no way those are healthy to use.
As far as the outside of the unit, they don't rake the leaves in the Fall. So you have to walk all over wet leaves that are piled on the walkway and in front of the door. In the winter they love to use a lot of dirt and they do a terrible job of plowing.
Heating this place is extremely expensive because of the poor insulation, even with the plastic I've had to put on all of the windows. There is actually cold wind that comes in from the kitchen cabinets as well. I've had to put towels under the cabinets because it is so cold. Again, very classy.
I could keep going, however I'm sure you get the point. Like I said, don't do it...there are plenty of other places to live here in Manchester.
