RUN THE OTHER WAY!

Don't be deceived by the green grass(which by the way you are not allowed to do so much as spread out a blanket and read on!), Pillar Manors was the worst living environment I have ever lived in. The management is deceiving and manipulative. After I moved out she charged me for a broken door that she told me she would have fixed when I MOVED IN to the apartment. On my moving out day, she refused to do the final walk through with me and sent me a text message saying, "just leave your forwarding address and the keys". It took 25 days after I moved out to get the deposit in which she charged me for damages that occurred in those 25 days after I had gone. And since she refused to meet with me when I was moving out, I didn't get a chance to avoid getting charged for items like the door and the community hallway tiles that racked up to $350! Also, she will advertise as pet friendly, but some families she charges a monthly pet fee while others she doesn't. And on top of that, the grass in between the houses cannot have any kind of animal on them...even if it just to play. On top of everything, there is very little insulation so I could literally track where my above neighbors were walking in their apartment, I could pinpoint where they were playing fetch with their dog, and I could hear their voices!
The people that lived around me were equally as miserable. I'm not exaggerating any of this. I'm telling you that Pillar Manors is not a wise choice for a living environment.

We took the landlord of Pillar Manors to court and won. My advice is to immediately report her to the New Hampshire DOJ - Consumer Protection and Antitrust Bureau (http://doj.nh.gov/consumer/). If she owes you monetary compensation, file a small claims court lawsuit. It is cheap and easy to do. This is one deadbeat landlord that needs to be shut down! Best wishes to you.

In no way is that post any exaggeration of the miserable lifestyle you'll endure while living there. These buildings are beautiful and that is the ONLY thing they have going for them. Manegement= the incompetent owner that litterally acts like a 13yr old girl when it comes to dealing with adult issues (like the person above stating all she got was a text), usually it was just a note on the door or an email but it will NEVER BE FACE TO FACE. I really hope people are paying attention to these posts we've all gone out of our way to put up for the mere hope of dettering just one person from moving into this situation. Put it this way, I am 26 yrs old, as you would expect I had no grey hair...you would be right if I never lived there, 6 months turned 20% of my hair grey from the daily stress of having to battle my own landlord over the smallest of things. for the same money, move to Waterford Place, just a nice, newer, now bs from a power hungry, real-estate management oblivious landlord.
