My friend told me about this web site today and I thought I'd check it out and possibly add a comment. To my surprise I found my landlord, Red Oak, on it and with bad comments. I live at the Opera Block and have been here since 2002. I love my apartment, it's gorgeous and huge. I have dealt with the new management and found them to be great. I personally think the building, inside and out, looks great, better than before. There are people cleaning the halls almost every day, the laundry rooms are always clean. Red Oak has enforced the parking rules and there is finally parking every night when I come home. About 2 months ago there was a leak coming from the apartment upstairs from me and I called the emergency line and someone was at my house within 30 minutes, I really appreciated that. The office staff is courteous and polite and the maintenance guy knows what he is doing. Are we talking about the same company' I think Red Oak is great!

I think a lot of it is the actual apartments as opposed to the staff. I think the people were nice but the apartment I live in is overpriced in the ghetto.
