I signed up for my lease last year. I was told the place was to be cleaned out and fresh paint was going to be applied to all the rooms. WEll that was far from the case, the place was filthy and the windows were painted shut. Over the past few months I have had problems with the windows leaking and the result was mold growth around them. after multiple phone calls and attempts to resolve the problem nothing was done correctly. I am not here to bash this company but overall we do like the apartment ,despite the incomplete maintenance work, It has a great location and quick easy access to the highway. SEk1KnECheF1ATXbXtrZ

I have lived in a red oak apartment for over 3 years and i think that they can have there problems sometimes but it seems to only be miscommunication. My apt. is clean our hallways dont smell.Whenever we have an issue the office usually takes care of it in a timely manner. We have had our share of problems with kids running around and hanging out but we as a building all handle it ourselves. These are our homes and we do protect it to the best of our ability and if we cant there is always the local police. That is what they get paid for.
As for maintence they do the best they can. There is only some many maintence people to how many apt's? they work long days and do the best they can. As for not coming right away maybe you need to understand that somewhere else there might be a problem that is way more important that yours and they need to tend to that first.
In the building that i live in the common areas are well kept up and look great. That again has alot to do with the tenants here. We all know each other and dont want to live like pigs so we all do our share. In a way my building is like one big dorm. We all borrow from each other and hang out. Now there are the few tenants that come in and cause problems of all sorts but usually that is taken care of promptly by managment. Our manager lives across the parking lot from us too and she does her job well. I am not a fan of the owner of my building for personal reasons but over all this is a great place to live. I was actually thinking about moving into a bigger apt. for more money but when i saw that and compared it to where i live this place is a mansion. So there are always pro's and con's that come with living in a multi-family home. All neighbors should respect the other tenanats and not blare music and run threw the halls but that is just common curtiosy among adults. There are kids that run through the halls ocassionly but i tell you what you will hear atleast one neighbor speak up and the noise stops. All the kids in here respect the adults and no better. That goes back to the parents not the children. If they are not taught right at home how can you expect them not to act like wild animals outside or in the halls.
As for security we have had a few issues but everytime we call someone is here to take care of it. We have more problems with psnh fixing a broken lamp post light then red oak not fixing thier security issues.
All and all this is a nice place to live and i would recommened it to anyone. Now i dont know if this is because of red oak itself or the tenants within the building. I just now that i feel safe here and it is my home. It is peaceful at night and you can leave your doors open all hours, and it is safe to sit outside alone. Also red oak has a play ground here for the kids and that is great it gives the kids somewhere to relax and hang out and still be close to home.
Oh and by the way if you wanted peace and quiet maybe you should have not moved in the city cause that tends to be a louder enviorment.
