RED OAKS are the biggest slumlords & have been since they first opened under STRAWBERRY OAKS. There was one other name before they became RED OAKS too. The apartment building & stores on Merrimack St are infested with roaches. No matter how many times they (RED OAK's maintance dept)sprayed! They had to purchase the OPERA BLOCK apts under a different name. They do take care of that building but why not take care of all their properties the same' There was a female who worked in the office years ago who slept w all the guy tentants she rented to & didn't rent to most females. NOW, there still is selective renting to a certain male NEW tentant at SUNSET RIDGE with fake information on his application. HopefullY,someone w some authority will check into the fraud & rent the discounted units to someone actually on the waiting list w real kids.

Our company has been in the apartment rental business for over 25 years providing quality service, excellent resident care and well maintained apartment homes. There is a good reason why we have been successful in doing these three things. We are hands-on owners. We are on our properties every day and week. In other apartment communities do you think the owner is out in the middle of a snowstorm plowing the lots? I am. We have greatly improved all of our properties over the many years we have been in business. When we first started in business we purchased many properties that were in need of repair. We have been doing this work continually for all the years we have owned them. This includes landscaping, siding and interior remodeling and improvements. Another reason why we are outstanding is our expert maintenance team. We have licensed and skilled electricians, plumbers, carpenters and masons on our team for all maintenance requests. A well stocked warehouse gives us the ability to respond to requests in a very quick manner. In looking over some of the reviews on this site I realize that we follow the rules and laws that are set out to protect our residents. When some of these residents, and in one case a former employee, do not want to follow the laws or want us to make special exceptions for them they become unhappy. I feel badly that they think that this is directed at them. Red Oak has worked very hard to make every resident our first priority and we will continue to do so. I am not surprized at all with this review. The staff is, well lets just say, there not exactualy "respectable"

Thank you to the owner of Red Oak for working hard to make Manchester a better place to live. My apartment is great, the staff is very good, maintenance is good and I love it here!
