I lived in Manchester Place for 15 months, and it was 15 months too long. The biggest problem with the apartment complex is the MANAGEMENT. Words cannot express how awful the management was. They completely stabbed us in the back. When we were ready to move out, they made up charges that we owed them. They threatened if we did not pay the charges, they would take us to Court. For someone who does not have all the money in the world, I could not afford Court fees. One of the charges was for a small stain in the carpet, which our realtor friends explained to us should have absolutely covered as average "wear and tear." Management absolutely refused to let us try and clean it ourselves and would not let us pay for professional carpet cleaning. They are extremely sleazy and cannot be trusted. While we were living in the apartment as well, we had ant problems as well. The manager of the building is a terrible person who we also heard rumors stole from other peoples' apartments. Whether that part is true is anybody's guess, but the rest is 100% fact. BEWARE.
