I have lived in this apartment complex for two and a half years. When I moved in I paid a $500 pet fee (which I do not get back), then a year after and since then they started charging me the $35 a month pet fee (which is now in existence because they only charge new residents $350 up front). We were told we could not get another dog and since then I have seen at least four people with two dogs and countless ones breaking the breed and weight restrictions. Also, we have a two bedroom apartment and only one parking spot is included, we have to pay for two additional spots, which adds up to another $50 a month. Also, each time our rent has gone up a hundred dollars a year. We are moving out soon and I hope we don't experience the problems many many other people have had about not getting our deposit back, cause after three years the carpets will not be perfect. The worst part is they do not do maintenance with this money, they have cleaned the windows only once since I've lived here and they removed all the trash cans they once had in the parking garage and courtyard. They almost never remove the snow from the parking garage and in the winter parking is nearly impossible to find and I get home at 5, plus just two days ago someone broke into my car. They had sent out a letter saying they were going to light it and that lasted less than a week. The staff is nice when I can actually get down there during their impossibly short hours. The maintenance people show up quickly when asked. The construction is poor and door frames and counters settle very poorly, there is even a staircase that starts off flush with the wall and the farther down you go gets about a foot away, very concerning. The elevators break constantly, at least one a month, and the fire alarm has gone off at three in the morning at least 5 times since I've been here. On the plus, the location is great, I don't have any noise issues, and the staff is friendly. Also they do have a security guard for weekends, but that doesn't do much since they only started guarding the parking garage the past couple months.
