The apartment is roomy and the appliances are fairly modern. The AC is not very effective in cooling the bedroom, but works for the living room and kitchen. The third floor apartments are very hot year round, requiring you to leave your windows open in the winter even when you turn the heat down. Be prepared to move your car for plowing in the winter months. Management gives you notice, and you can park on the street on a first-come basis, so get up early!

Residents are quiet for the most part. I've had a neighbor or two whose smoking gave me asthma problems, but the building is now smoke-free. Every now and then I have to stomp on the floor to alert my downstairs neighbor that someone lives here because his music gets to be too loud, shaking the floor.

Management is very good at fixing failed appliances. Each year you get a choice of new blinds, carpet shampoo, or new tiles in kitchen/bath if you've lived here 5 or more years. Last fall they put on new siding but did not increase the rent....at least not mine, perhaps because I'm already at the high end. People seem to pay different rent when I look at what's posted on the website. I've always paid more than the price listed.

The mailboxes are inside in the building, and you can leave your outgoing stamped mail for the carrier. Incoming packages can be delivered to the office, but you can't leave any outgoing packages or mail there.

Parking is good. You get a maximum of 2 places if you have two cars and two adults regardless of the number of bedrooms. If you rent as one adult, you get only one parking place. Visitors must park on the street.

All-in-all I've had a good experience here, that's why I'm still here. I only wish washer/dryer were allowed in the apartments....but there's no space for them anyway.
