I think Washington Park is a great place to live. It's a really safe place to raise kids(as safe as you are going to get in a large city) I have seen a lot of impovements over the past few years. It seems like the owners are putting more back into the property than they used to. A few months ago we got much needed new mailboxes! Last year they finally put in a new playground. Now my kids can actually go on it and play, before it was just a metal swingset, that really was not that safe to be on. Now its a nice new playset and it is all fenced in, with benches for us parents to sit at and allow our kids to run free inside the playground area! It is great! The new card thing for our laundry machines...and new front load washers is great! Not only does it save on water, but my clothes come out so much cleaner and I find myself not going through as much laundry detergent! Maintenance and the office staff are great too. They never make me feel like they are too busy to listen or deal with me, and always are courteous and eager to help. There are a lot of great things about Washington Park. Not a bad place to live at all.

Um... okay, so it's pretty obvious the management found this site and started planting positive reviews. Who writes about how much we should appreciate the management staff? All that stuff is their job! New appliances don't make up for the fact that I can't drink the foul water that comes out of the taps. No, that may not be the managemet's "fault", but if anyone out there would like a place to live where they can drink the water, then hey, WP isn't for them! Same thing with the quote-unquote "no smoking policy". It's not enforced worth cr*p. Anyone who wants a place where the smoking policy is enforced, WP is NOT for you.

umm actually I have nothing to do with the staff, I am just an appreciative resident, that has read all these reviews from the miserable people in this world!!! and the brown water is has nothing to do with Washington Park! Its called the city of Manchester and flushing fire hidrants, etc....run your water for a few minutes it will go clear....yeah I hate that it turns brown...but oh well...I run my water for 5 minutes and BOOM back to clear, go anywhere in the city of Manchester and guess what..IT HAPPENS THERE TOO!!! I lived in 3 other apartments throughout the city West side, north end, and it happened there too!! and yeah I'll agree that the "no-Smoking Policy" is a battle...but its the morons that move into a non smoking building..fully knowing they themselves are smokers, they are breaking the rules..and it sucks that I have to deal with it, and my kids have to deal with it...but people break rules...let me rephrase that IDIOTS break rules...just like with anything else and anywhere else!!
