Waterford place looks like a beautiful place to live, but don't be fooled.

The slightest noise by another resident sounds like they are in the appartment with you.

Waterford place does NOTHING to discourage car thefts. It seems like they almost encourage them. I lived here for 4 months, and had one car broken into, and another one stolen! The office doesn't even act concerned.

They also change the rules after you sign the lease. I signed a lease saying that I was allowed 4 cars, and then 3 months later they told me I could only have 3!

This is a luxury apartment complex for adults. Not a party place for 'wildmatt or wildmary'. When we mofed in Oct. 2005, we were told there are 2 parking place per unit plus garages to rent. We rented a garage for my husbands "toy car: Miata", and use the other spaces for our two other cars. We did have our cars rifled for change one summer when we left the cars unlocked. So now we lock them!

Things change in 3 years cherribrew, including the staff! We signed a lease that states "four parking places". We're not looking for a party place. We're looking for a safe place to call home, which we were mistaken with here. Our cars are ALWAYS locked. One had a window smashed and several personal items stolen or thrown on the ground. The other was broken into with an intent to steal. Those responsible have not been caught and there is nothing stopping them from doing it again! It could be your car next time!

We live in the Waterford Places and love it, but I am amazed people think they are safe because the rents are higher. They seem to have forgotten that we live in "Manchester"... with the highest volume of crime. The only way to avoid this is to live in a gated community or move to the country. I always lock my doors.
