I reserved a beautiful two bedroom, two bathroom apartment. After applying for the unit, I was told 2 days later that the credit was approved and they were just waiting for the criminal check. Ten days later, the leasing agent called with some credit questions. After (finally) being approved for the unit, I decided not to move in. The rent quoted to me at the time of applying for the unit was different than what the sales agent, ------, stated when it came to sign the lease. In addition, I am employed by one of the "preferred employers", which, according to the paperwork given to me when I applied stated I was entitled to a $25/month discount off the monthly rent. ------ said that the program changed and the discount was no longer offered -- the sales manager, ------, said that there was no way they would honor the discount, even though they had made the mistake. In the end, the apartment would have cost me over $50/month more than originally thought. I found both ------ and ------ rude, condescending and difficult to work with. I decided not to rent because I didn't want to deal w/ them in the future.

The current management leaves a LOT to be desired. But like the NE weather it changes quickly around here so those two will be gone before long. Hope you shared that info. with your "preferred employer". Having lived here two years I seen three management changes. I don't agree with your ratings of the maintenance, and grounds though. Try owning your own home for awhile and you will appreciate how good ours are. Thanks for sharing though.

Your right about one thing the apartments are beautiful. I was lucky enough to get a third floor with beautiful fireplace. You sound a bit angry and quite honestly your personality is probally the issue. Your story doesn't make sense it sounds like your making it up. When I applied I was told it would be at least 5 days until my criminal check came back before I had an answer, so was a co-worker I referred(great referral bonus I got $1000.00 off my next months rent). If it took ten days there was probally some problem with your application, maybe you have bad credit or criminal history and your just mad you couldn't move here. Its probally a good thing you sound like a jerk. This place is awesome one of the best complex style units I have ever lived in.
