We moved to this facility from a much nicer and newer complex. The apartments are more than 20 years old, so you will notice this in the style and appliances. Generally speaking, it isn't terribly noisy, but I can hear my neighbors running up and down the stairs. These units are TERRIBLE on insulation. My first winter heating bill was over $200. If you live here, buy those huge plastic shrink-wrap covers to put over the windows. Your checkbook will thank you. As some units are two stories, not having thermostats for the second story leads to very warm or very cold extremes from the first floor to the second.

It is nice they allow pets, but you only need to walk around one day to realize that there are a ton of people violating the size of dog restriction. I don't care as every one I have seen has been quiet and on a leash. I'm sure this is more of a Wellington Hill liability insurance issue.

Overall, the maintenance folks have always been courteous, although on day one they never fixed a few items citing it was too difficult and time consuming. It's not that big of a deal as they were relatively minor repairs. Other than this, they have fixed whatever I requested the same day or next day.

The rent is reasonable compared to other places in the area. This place has garages and allows grills which many apartments in the area do not. Wellington Hill has a mixture of high and low income individuals, so your mileage may vary depending on who you live next to.

I like living here. If you leave the main office a voicemail, don't expect a call back all the time. I usually have to call three or four times to actually speak with someone. They can be hard to reach. I'd suggest walking in when you know they are there as you know you'll get a response.

I gotta agree with you on the Insulation...OMG! I think my neighbors do some exercise at home! I can hear her running up and down the stairs!! Also closing her closett door! These units have a TERRIBLE insulation. Now about calling 3-4 times...I never had that problem, everythime I call I allways get someone on the phone or they call me right away.
