I have lived at Woodland Heights for just under one year and am quite happy here. The rooms are good sized, clean, new appliances. On the few occassions that I have needed to call for maintenance they have come within 48 hours and fixed the problem without ever trying to fault me for whatever had gone wrong. There is plenty of parking with 4 large lots. The pool, playground and basketball court are clean and well maintained. I have electric heat and my highest bill was under $100.
I too agree that more than one of the negative posts were written by the same person who should moved out if it were that bad. Who is just an unhappy person and would prefer to see the complex with empty units, thereby giving her more free use of the parking lots, laundry facilities, playground and pool. To know for sure drive through at different times of the week, different times of the day and you will see that it is a nice quiet, well maintained complex.
Go to the police department and pull the records, see how often the police are actually here (which is a lot less than you might think) and see how many of the police calls were initiated by the same person.
Come join us at Woodland Heights.

you've not live here long enough to get extremely frustrated with this companies lack of attention & experience...Pets are great but you've not seen what winter will bring dog crap everywhere, there is a place to take you dog to do his business and people are to lazy they would just rather let them go in from of your place you can't even walk in the trails it everywhere they let in all breed/and large dogs..living on the lower level all you hear all day/night is dogs running around plus the pee on the porches when means watch out you'll get a head full...they make the front of this place pretty to attract people but the units are not worth the money they charge...I left thank god...Mold & mildew in place just take a look at your shower walls they are a mess and tile are coming off..the maintenance men only patch stuff they have not experience in fixing things correctly you'll see you'll be calling for the same old repairs..Kids play in the parking lots and cars are forever getting hit wheres the parents..Office doesn't pay attention..the hall smell the rubbish all the time..laundry area is a mess and units always break down tenants leave laundry for day to sour...the landscaping is cheap and not all building get it done...I live at heritage across the way move to woodland think I was getting better NOPE JUST THE SAME!! rent is rediculas...no security doors or they are broken...no mail drop boxes in all units so mail don't leave your mail out...I could go on and on but I'll let you all experience it..

I will agree that sometimes you can get maintenance to come out quickly, but when explaining the problem (the caulkign was peeling away in my shower and there was mold on the ceiling CONSTANTLY) the guy told me that anything over 5 minutes in the shower was "unreasonably long" so therfore, my "overuse" of my OWN BATHROOM was the cause! I never shut the fan off in my bathroom anymore and the day after he "fixed" it, it was peeling again!
The playground may have been well maintained in 2008, but in 2009 it is filthy. I WOULD MOVE OUT but there's this lease that cannot be broken under any circumstances. I also very much disagree that one person is soley responsible for all the negative posts, all of my neighbours have the same complaints as I!
I see police cars drive through here every other day, random drive throughs? Why is that I wonder?
