Not sure we live in the same place as a couple of other reviewers. We have lived at Bay Ridge for over a year after having owned our own homes (4) for the last 35 years. The apartment complex is much quieter than our old neighborhood. We have worked well with management and find them professional and easy to get along with. The buildings are old and the floors do creak but the general noise is low. We have had one loud neighbor but after we talked to him, he quieted down. People seem to think that living in a house or a condo, it will be better but found that is not always the case. We lived in a suburb community that had high traffic (fewer residence than here), trucks, school buses (several) speeders which made it dangerous backing out of the driveway and very loud neighbors. This is much better but it is an apartment and we understand that.

I believe that Bay Ridge is a decent place to live if you have respectable neighbors. However, Bay ridge has it's share of noisy tenants.
