Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2008

I would not recommend moving here. The apartments are decent but they kept raising the rent every year. I lived here between 2005 and 2008. I had to break the lease since I was changing jobs and had to move. Not only did the property manager not listen to any reason, she is so ill mannered and rude , she yelled at me when I tried to discuss this with her. When I mentioned that they had raised rents every year without increasing amenities, she said and I quote " well its inflation you know.We get coffee delivered to our office and the price of that has gone up as well."
I would never recommend this place to anyone particularly for the horrible property manager.

What does your contract say in regards to breaking a lease. Penalties are common when you decide to leave early. They don't want you to break the lease. It is their job to discourage you. They loose money if the apartment is empty and it costs money to clean up the apartment ( if they ever do ) and find a new tenant.

Just to clarify I had to give 60 days notice and pay two full months rent as termination fees for breaking the lease. So please forgive me if I am not to able to spot "THE DEAL" as you described.

I have lived there for 6 months! In this 6 months i have had a motorcycle stolen 2 times. The first time was after only being there a few days. The second time i had a motorcycle stolen was after living there 2 months. Now 6 months into my lease i have had my truck broken into. Besides my problems there have been about 16 other cars broken into in my 6 months living there. The complex does not care about you or your property! All they care about is getting payed on the first of the month. I have inquired about breaking the lease and their response is you ahve to give 2 months notice, and pay 2 months worth of rent ($2600)..... Normally i could understand this if i was breaking the lease just becasue i changed my mind...but in my case I have spent almost $3,000 on deductables and locks and alarms to secure my vehicles...all becasue this complex doesnt care to implement some kind of security measures. When i spoke with the police they said that half a mile up the road they have no problems with crime or vehicle theft/vandalisim. Oh lets not forget that the complex just recently had their sign vandalized (along with tenants vehicles) and they had to replace the whole sign.
