I'm in my 2nd year of renting at Bay Ridge:

Things that are good:
-Washer and dryer in apartment
-Nice community- set back from the main road, pretty pond to walk around
-I use the gym every day and love it
-Reasonable rates, but only if you negotiate and fight to get them
-LOVE my neighbors

Horrible things:
-When I tried to move into a larger apartment it was a NIGHTMARE- you would think they would be more considerate of good tenants who want to upgrade but instead it was down to the wire before i even found out if I was getting a 2 bedroom
-Also, some of the management staff (not going to name names) can be extremely rude and not very accomodating
-Although my building has not yet been renovated, I have seen what it entails and it looks extremely stressful to the tenants- they have been taping off balconies, working early morning on Saturdays and I also hear that you are required to move everything from your balconies. It also seems to take a considerable amount of time for construction on each bldg

So, bottom line- the apts are nice and I enjoy living there but due to poor management this will DEFINITELY be my last year uWDgQKY3Vkv8FKIsB8Ax
