Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2009
 
The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything in the apartments above and below you, like snoring, coughing, crying, etc. Once they have your money you can't move either. There's no negotiating with these people. It will cost you 4 months rent to break the lease.
