This is an expensive apartment but it has a nice wooded area.There are not dog poops everywhere like a nearby apartment complex.I have never had a problem having anything in my apartment fixed.Usually they come the very day that I call.We went to the pool everyday this summer.It was only closed maybe 3 times.Also,anytime the building is to be worked on or the parking area,there are always signs up to notify residents days in advance.If you have a new car you could easily move it to another section.There is a nice lake to walk around.I think the negative reviews are from people looking for a maid service hotel resort'The rent increase is the only drawback,and it was sad to begin paying for water after not paying for it for a year.But the apartment complex up the street has horrible reviews and a bad reputation and costs more than bay ridge!
