Glad we decided against apartments

My fiance and I arrived to take a tour of the apartments. We were in need of an apartment by the end of the month, so we were very interested. However, we arrived 2 hours before the leasing staff was to close for the day because we were told that we didn't need an appointment. Well, we sat there for 45 minutes waiting for someone to show us some places (the woman was out with someone else) When she came back, she didn't even acknowledge us, she had her little assistant tell us to leave. She wasn't willing to stay an extra 15 minutes to show us anything or to speak with us, and I even mentioned that I was from out of town, and I was leaving that day. My fiance and I are in our twenties, and personally I think that the leasing staff thought that we weren't serious. Well too bad for them, we left and decided on a beautiful apartment complex where we were treated with respect. I feel so much better knowing that many people are not happy living at Boulder Park.

I am the leasing agent that was listed in the review. I am truly sorry that this couple was unable to tour on Sunday. Although we do not require appointments to tour, it is highly recommended that prospective residents do so as weekends are very busy and priority MUST be given to those that have planned ahead and have scheduled appointments. Our weekend assistant tried to be accomodating and asked the couple to wait to see if I could fit them in between scheduled appointments. Unfortunately I could not. It is difficult to anticipate how busy our office may be on a Sunday. Most prospective residents I have worked with who have both an urgent need for housing AND very lmited time to actually tour DO schedule appointments to insure that someone is available to help them with their housing needs. In addition, this couple waited 30 minutes at most and it was not that I would not stay later that our office hours but instead was still working with a client and had several other apppointments scheduled for that afternoon AFTER they left. I am happy that this couple found suitable housing but am perplexed that they felt so wronged when they very easily could have called ahead. Kim Kojak Senior Leasing Consultant Boulder Park

We too experienced this. We're moving to Nashua from out of state and were looking for an apartment over the same weekend. The snotty assistant was just coming back from lunch and asked us if we needed any assistance. We told her we were from out of state (here on a job relocation house finding trip - given about 12 business hours total to find a place before places closed and our plane took off!) She asked if we had an appointment - which we did not but called 2 days prior to our flight to be sure we did not. We were told on the phone that no appointments were needed and they would be more than willing to help when we arrived. We told them our flight would arrive about 11am on Saturday and we would be there shortly thereafter as Boulder Park was our first choice. Well - when we arrived - we were told that they were "extremely booked" and that we needed to make an appointment for the following day. We made the appointment thinking we'd be back - but after visiting several other places that day - several being more than accommodating - we decided to pass on Boulder Park Apartments and I'm glad. The snotty assistant did hand us a completely useless brochure. In it it mentioned a security deposit equal to 1 months rent. The only mention of a security deposit w/ dog on the phone was $500! We even double checked the website & rent.com - no mention of this - 100% misleading - no wonder people are unhappy!

My husband and I met with Kim yesterday to tour the Apartments and grounds, she was nothing but friendly and professional. She answered all of our questions, and was very helpful. Thank you Kim
