At first, when I moved in 8 months ago, I thought it was great...the lease is only 6 months and is renewed for 2 months after, amking it easy to move...now I know why.
Dog crap is everywhere...and they cant do anything about it unless you see what apt the person comes from (it is never cleaned by
anyone so my 2 yr old cant play outside.) There are no street lights, never enough parking, no fire lanes so everyone parks on corners (so half the time you cant get into the parking in front of the townhouses), my husbands car actually got hit..but the guy was nice enought o stick around and tell him, and they have a lot of low income trash living here. Not all low income people are trash...I was one myself for a time...but there is no reason that they have to scream and fight and leave trash everywhere. Nobody has respect for anyone...the office management has PMS all the time. The lifegaurd for the pool doesnt care, and the pool is way too small. In fact, the one by our townhouse was closed for 3/4 of the summer.
They never fix anything, and if they do it seems like you have to wait forever. We had a horrible leak and had to wait TWO days for them to come...then I asked for new carpeting because the carpet was soaking wet from the leak (from the pipes on the washing machine)...nothing.
The apt wasnt clean when we moved in and the carpet (indoor/outdoor) is hard to keep clean.
We never hear our neiighbors next to us (unless they are outside), but the apt itself echos EVERYTHING. the upstairs is always hot and downstairs is very drafty.
If you live in the townhouse you have to drive to Strawberry Bank Rd to take out your garbage (which is just a hassle). Also, the decks on the townhouses has large spaces between the slats, my daughter can fit her whole body through it. Definite safety hazard...we couldnt use the deck. The phone jacks (2) are in bedrooms we would have to pay to have one installed in the living room).
It really isnt worth it...unless you have NO other options...stay away!

I have lived here for 8 years. My carpet has holes in it, my bathroom is all moldy. the roof has leaked since i moved in there. i called numerace times but nothing was ever done. drafty windows. the upstairs is always hot and the downstairs in the winter is freezing!! I can't seem to get anything fixed. maintance comes in and just says they have to get parts and never return. These have turned into the ghetto. there is no parking at all. They rent to large groups of young adults in one apaprtment that like to party all night all the time. management are rude and obnoxious. they make very hard to get out of here with the 60 days notice. no one will hold an apaprtment for 60 days. if you are smart you would stay far far away!!
