I live at 103 Spit Brook, Brook Village apartments and it is awful. Any time you call the office with problems, they tell you to "call the police and put it in writing". They are lazy about taking care of problems.
The apartment itself is an electrical nightmare: you can't run more than a few items off of any section of the apartment or you blow the fuse.
There have been roaches here, squirrels have dug holes into the apartment across from me and the people had to move (they had a newborn baby). Right now I am awake all night because the squirrels are above my bedroom ceiling scratching to get in-they put new shingles up and sealed in any living thing inside the ceilings!!
Parking is another major problem: no assigned parking. And there are lots of parties in the buildings. You would think residents would have priority parking, but there is no visitor section. The winter is worse: everyone parks any way they want because the lot is so poorly plowed.
Nice area out back with a few trees but too much dog poop to walk through it.
If you like frustration, noise from parties, poor service, then move here. I'd move out but I'm saving for a house, so I'll only suffer for a little while.
