Don't waste your time...

Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2002
My wife and I lived in Clocktower for exactly ten months. And we were planning to leave after two or three. They are very nice apartments with great character, high ceilings, etc. But it is majority filled with loud rent control residents and thus has a definite ghetto feel to it. We had laundry stolen from different laundry rooms twice! People love to party in their cars (and/or repair them with music at full volume) in the parking lot. I'm not kidding when I say that I NEVER went out past 6:00 PM without a gun strapped to my chest. There were never-ending hordes of criminal-types and assorted low-lifes slithering around at all hours of the day and night. Plus you have ZERO control over heat and AC - that drove us crazy. The only good thing was the staff - they truly worked (with limited resources) to make our "hard-time" as pleasant as possible. Plus the surrounding Nashua center area is nice - with good bars and places to eat. But, in general, you'd have to like living in a dangerous prison to truly enjoy the environment at Clocktower.
