Very good for a large apt complex

Years at this apartment: 2003-01-01 - 2004-01-01
Positives: Plenty of space, tons of hot water, clean common areas, friendly helpful office and maintenance staff, garage parking
Negatives: Outside noise (yes, the river side is always loud but it becomes a kind of white noise), poor sound insulation between units but management will work with you for a solution
I've lived in plenty of large apartment complexes over the past 20 years. I've found that whether someone is section 8 or not makes no difference whether or not they are going to leave trash laying in the trash room or pull your stuff out of the washer before it's done. (I'm more annoyed with people who "forget" they are doing laundry leaving me to have to decide to take their stuff out or not. If you return to the laundry room to find your laundry folded: that was me.) Some people are just plain RUDE and it has nothing to do with money. I think sometimes people have unrealistic expectations of apartment living.
The office staff are friendly and helpful and the people in maintenance are wonderful.
I don't think the rents are out of line. The other places I looked at in S. New Hampshire were similarly priced and not as large or as nice. And, compared to the Boston area (and other places I've lived), this is a bargain.
