I can't say that I agree with your comments. I can only assume from your comments about market basket that you are in the Danforth Drive apartments. I am in the Silver Drive apartments and they are pretty nice, small but nice. Mine was completely renovated before I moved in. Yes, the rooms and the bathroom are small but you don't normally find bigger bathrooms in an apartment.
As for the neighbors, they all tend to keep to themselves and it is generally quiet. No complaints. I love the diversity in my neighbors. I have some indian neighbors downstairs and we trade movies and have great discussions on food and our differing culture.
I have been over to the Danforth Drive area and am not impressed with the area. The apartments on Silver Drive are great, clean, affordable and quiet.

Thank you for the counter-response. I am currently considering moving into a 1-st floor unit on Silver drive. I wanted to live in North Nashua, where I'm going to be working, but all the apartments up there got pretty bad ratings and the reviewers themselves sound like a cranky bunch. We really liked Pheasant Run on first impression, the diversity, seeing people actually outside walking around doing things and interacting with one another. The unit itself is a bit small, particularly lacking in closet space. The property management staff were the best we have met so far and that I think has a big influence on whether people choose to sign or not, which is why I'm trying to step back and take an objective view of the property since I will not be living next door to Nicole. We are worried though that just about everyone has mentioned poor sound insulation. We aren't overly sensitive people, nor are we loud, but we have two cats that run around in the early morning hours and I don't want this to disturb people below. Therefore we are thinking of taking a 1st floor unit. (Also because upper levels are bound to be stifling hot in the summer, as some reviewers have attested to--this is the case in any apartment building I've ever lived in.) Anyhow, I just don't know if it will be terribly noisy on the first floor if the noise from outside, above and adjacent apartments, and the laundry room is as bad as everyone says. I am having a hard time finding anywhere else with any better ratings though. Recommendations welcome! (2-br $1000 to $1300 depending on utilities included and location, cats welcome, 2 adults 1 young child.)
