Apartment managements are supposed to send an itemized list of all the damages that were found in the apartment after the tenant has vacated, along with the refund of any remaining deposit amount within 30 days of the date when tenants leave. If this is not followed by the management, tenants are entitled to double the amount of the security deposit less the amount for damages. People, please take notice of this law in NH and you could possibly get your money back if you feel that you have been withheld money unjustly by the management.
