Pheasant Run Apartments

First, Beware that this apartment complex requires you give 60! days notice to vacate, (any people who currently reside there now, please make it a point to send the BBB a complaint about this...) and the letter must be submitted on the 28 of the month. This is absurdly long time seeing as almost every other apartment complex requires only 30 days (which by NH law is considered to be ample time for any kind of notice)
second, parking. There are no assigned spaces for parking, so its first come first serve, so be prepared to trudge 10-15 minutes uphill in the freezing cold just to reach your front door, and if you found a plowed out parking space, consider yourself blessed by the divine one himself.
Next is the management. Simply put they just don't care. I had to make several complaints about neighbors for various things before any action was taken... and by action I mean they sent the neighbors a "dear john" letter that was nothing more then a copy of a section in the lease terms. I received one myself about a bird feeder...don't ask
The amount you pay for rent is off the scales. When you tour the place they will show you a model apartment. it will be pristine and cheery, but make sure you ask to see the unit that you personally will be occupying, I assure you it will be much less pristine and borderline gloomy. when I asked to see my unit I was given the
"well we can't show your specific unit right now as it is being remodeled, but we can show you another one just like it..."
Next is the laundry rooms... They will tell you that they just put in all new washers and dryers. And yes they did. However they are the cheapest most piss poor washer and dryers ever. They are always breaking and do a horrible job at washing and drying. You have to run everything twice just to get the illusion of clean back into your clothes. And you only get 2 washers and 2 dryers per unit complex to service the ENTIRE complex... I will do the math for you. There are 3 floors per complex, each with 20 units per floor... that's 60! units sharing only 2 washers and 2 dryers... seeing as each unit averages 2-3 people, that is 120-180 people trying to do 3-4 loads of laundry a week, all at the same time. As you may have guessed it doesn't work out very well in the end.
Now onto all the little things... Things like 1/4" thick white paint globed onto every surface there is, including many surfaces that should never have been painted in the first place... door handles, door hinges, electrical plates, light switches... the FLOOR!, both the carpet and linoleum variety (be careful when moving out, they are notorious for trying to blame YOU for the paint on the floor)
The kitchen cabinets were designed by Ray Charles, they are completely un-level and the height is positioned in such a way that a standard cereal box will not stand upright on ANY shelf, and no you can't adjust them without power tools. You will have to lay it down on it's side. Believe me it is far more annoying than it may sound. You will find that it is difficult to put any of your groceries away, many everyday things seem to just not fit anywhere at least not properly.
The electrical circuits were done poorly, want to vacuum your carpets'.. well just don't use the living room or main bedroom outlets, you'll pop the breaker every time if you do. You will have to use an outlet in the kitchen... provided the microwave isn't running of course... and should you wish to use a hairdryer' well, best of luck to you.
Another thing is mold. The bathrooms have zippity-do-da for any kind of ventilation. which allows mold and mildew to grow at an alarmingly fast rate. Be prepared to do a bathroom cleaning with an anti-fungal at least 3 times a week. Plus the duct work for the fans is all connected straight up and down with no side drafts, so the odors from below quickly inundate you.
In closing this place is both crude and rude in every imaginable way. You are seriously better off in the section 8 apartments just up the street then you are here. It is way too expensive and way too noisy and far too crappy to ever pay nearly $1200 a month... at the price they charge you can actually BUY an entire HOUSE in nearby towns of NH (less then 15 minutes from the Nashua border)... and you will get a heck of a lot more room as well. That's what I did anyway.
Just stay away. They are only out for your money and couldn't care less about you or your comfort, they just want your money and will lie cheat and deceive you in anyway possible in order to get it.

"so be prepared to trudge 10-15 minutes uphill"
last time I checked (this evening) it was all FLAT outside.
How old are you?! To call a .2% incline uphill?

Danforth side i flat, Silver side has a huge hill going from the "visitors" parking up to the back set of apartments. During winter all the spots at the top of the hill are full by ~4pm, and by the time I got home at 6pm pretty much everything except he visitors section is full.
