Not worth the high prices

Years at this apartment: 1999 - 2001
We lived in a 2nd floor 2 bedroom apartment for 2 years. We've been told the rent was going up another $200 to top $1K/month.
Old construction, electric heat, noisy, and family run - so nothing got fixed. The installed AC has leaked for 2 years, and the drawer in the tiny kitchen has been broken since we moved in. Promises of improvements were nothing but a ploy to get us in the door. Not worth the headaches...
