Royal Crest is a very nice place. The apartments are big, the maintenance is excellent most of the time, and their facilities are great. When I moved in, they came and gave me all new carpet and a new kitchen floor because it had some stains on it. There have been a few times when I called maintenance and they just never came. For small things they seem to come quickly. For big things they just never come.

However, they are pretty expensive, and they do seem to raise their rates a lot each year. The year 2001 was horrible in terms of the economy, but yet they still want to raise my rent $30 a month. That doesn't make sense.

The other thing is they are very strict. I was in the leasing office, and someone needed to break the lease because they were going to school after already staying there 8 months. Royal Crest just smugly said, "No exceptions." They only give year leases and charge $2500 if you break the lease, plus you have to keep paying rent until they fill the apartemnt.

They are very arrogant in the leasing office because they have this feeling that their apartment is the best in Nashua. They seem to feel, "If you don't take the apartment, then someone else will, so take it or leave it."

So, in all, if you are positive you are going to stay the whole year, and you want a nice place, then Royal Crest is a good bet. If you may have to leave during the middle, then definitely don't pick Royal Crest.
