I moved into Royal Crest with my three daughters after having owned a home 15 years (divorce, yadda, yadda). Although I am 45, I've never lived in a complex before. Honestly, I love it. My kids have made friends from many different cultures here and I feel safe letting them walk throughout the complex together (my oldest is 12).

I have no complaints whatsoever about my experience here. I am a novelist working at home, but I have yet to feel trapped in the apartment. I regularly play racketball at the health club and swam every day during the summer. The facilities are always very serviceable and relatively clean.

Finally, I was not familiar with this site when I first looked for an apartment. Had I checked here, I probably would not even have visited, primarily because of the racist tone of earlier posters.

I have found -------, Pakistanis and Southeast Asians to be pleasant, quiet neighbors. As for the smell of Indian spices, I am guilty of cooking New England boiled dinner last night, and I'm sure the aroma of boiled cabbage seeped out of our home. I would hope that none of my neighbors is going to complain on-line that white American men stink up the joint.
