I have been living at Royal Crest Estates for one month now and, frankly, I don't have a bad thing to say about it. The units are well constructed, so you will not hear your neighbors conversations or TV at night, etc... Parking can get a bit tricky, but there is always something avaialble. My only complaint is they should have non-smoking buildings. My downstairs neighbors sit on their deck and smoke (constantly) and the smoke wafts up into my apartment. I get a tad pissed about that, but it's all what you expect. RC has 980 units, so there are a LOT of people living there. The beauty of that is if you want to socialize - there are plenty of places to do so. If you don't want to socialize - don't. Simple.
My apartment is clean and my appliances rock. I called maintenance to fix my garbage disposal and they arrived within half an hour.

Well, as I expected, I had to leave RC early and violate my lease. The winter was a joke. Parking was scarce because of the poor plowing job they do and the amount of "dead" cars they allow in proper spaces. The plumbing was constantly spewing brown rusty water, if it was working at all. My water stopped working and it took them 9 days to get to me. Completely unacceptable - fortunately the water started working again on its own. For the price you pay to live there convenience should be of the utmost importance. It is... but to you only. RC is only there to turn a profit and they will prove it to you. They offer a good first impression but then fall horribly flat on their faces. Don't be fooled.
