Royal Crest is overrated and over priced. My experience was a bad one, so here are some reasons not to move in:

1. Over-priced, especially the older apartments not yet renovated. (heat not included!)
2. The staff, impersonal and pushy.
3. Bugs, earwigs/silverfish/ants/spiders
4. Parking, most buildings are far from the lots. No visitor parking, so they take up what should be resident spots.
5. Most of the streets are one way, with too many speed bumps. Very inconvenient.
6. During snow storms the plow blocks your car in a wall of snow.
7. It takes a considerable amount of noise/destruction of property complaints for them to evict.
8. The gated entry is hardly regulated, as security waves through just about anyone. They've been caught sleeping on the job, and not checking cars for resident stickers.

The landscaping and amenities are all Royal Crest really has going for it.
