Royal Crest is a good enough place to live for a year, however, now that my lease is almost up they want to jack the rent up almost $200 a month. Parking is alright but they don't bother ticketing illegially parked cars which makes it hard to get out of legal spots. The staff is fine and any issues I have had in the apartment were taken care of. My bathroom always smells like whatever they are cooking downstairs. Also, last summer they installed new doors and windows, my slider has been unable to lock since then. It is also almost impossible to give anyone directions in this place. The gates are often broken. My heat never cost more than $50.00 a month. The water pipes in my building make strange noises and the water is always cloudy. At Christmas time it is a nightmare to get anywhere around here, the traffic will hold you up so add at least 30 mins on to your trip to anywhere. The only reason I would not recommend this place is because of the high rent which will only get higher after your first year.
