My husband and I have lived here for almost a year and while it's not perfect, it's pretty good. I've lived in worse places, so it's better than some. I think that the management is pretty nice and helpful. They are very attentive when I call them or come over regarding an issue. When there is something that needs fixing, someone is usually over right away and fixes the problem - but there have been times where I've waited days for a repair because someone forgot to do put in a work order.

Overall, they do a great job. But frankly, we would rather live somewhere else. The people who live here are more family oriented, so they kind of have a clique. Most people keep to themselves. There are also some creepy people who live here who I go at lengths to stay away from. Also, I believe that the security isn't that great, depending on who has the shift. About a month ago, two men rang every bell in the building and pushed their way in when I came to the door. They said that they were looking for someone in apartment #5. I said that they should ring the bell to see if someone were home. They wandered through the building then ended up outside by my apartment, yelling at someone on the phone and swearing. The way that they were talking, I thought they were drug dealers. They announced the address they were at, then where they were going to. I called up security right away, telling them what happened. They seemed uninterested, but said that they would send someone over.

Among other complaints, there is the fitness center: most of the equipment is not maintained. I've gone in there and have not been able to use the elliptical machines because of a missing belt in the mechanism. And people don't wipe down the equipment after they use it. It's pretty gross. Another gripe I have is the smoking. We have 2 smokers on our floor, so the whole hallway smells like an ashtray - and sometimes, our apartment gets a little stinky - the walls are pretty thin. Speaking of stinky, our bedroom windows are right next to the barbecue grill, so we have the smell of charred meat in our apartment, so we have to close the windows. Also, many people, especially with kids, are so loud. Our apartment faces the parking lot, so we hear a lot of people fighting and swearing at odd times - my husband works from home, so this is a big distraction.

We're hoping to get a new place to live soon. As it's been alright, I think the time to go is now.
