Well where do I start' Ah yes right from the begining. The attidude of the property manger was as pleasing as say umm haveing a tooth pulled with out drugs. She was extremly short with my questions and was in a hurry for me to sign here and here and here. When i walked throught the spacious 500sq foot aptment w/basement(made it worht it) there where several mold spots in the bathroom and around the master bedroom window. Mind you that it was the month of DEC when i moved in. My wife and I called several times to get this fix. The fix was to paint over the mold and wait for us to call when the mold bleed through the new paint. Now this is where it really gets fun.
Our lease was up for renewal in Nov of 99 they went up on our rent a mere 15% when we renewed in 2000 they went up 20% on the rent
My wife and i now own a house in Newmarket and i pay $200 more a month for a mortgage. to put this in perspective. I started at $650.00 a month year 2 was $750.00 year three was $900.00. Now thier reason for the increase was that they could get much more for my apt if we moved out. Well we did and that processes was like putting hot cigars out on my butt. fist they charged me $125.00 rerenting fee, i had to pay till the end of the month even though i moved out on the 15th, i had to pay for 4hrs of cleanning even though they replaced the kitchen counters, all the rugs, the vanity in the bathroom, the floors in the kitchen and the bathroom. i got 80% of my security deposit back and NO INTREST which is illegal i think. Oh and one more thing before i leave that i forgot to mention is that they towed my car away one morning to mow the grass. when i called for my car they said that they posted notes on everones door way three days prior. my family and i returned from vaction the night before the car got towed. ( iwasn't very happy. So in closeing if you like being screwed with out being taking out to dinner first then oh yeah baby move right in.
