I personally lived in a cheney owned apt 2 yrs ago and I think they screwed every cent they could out of me and made it near impossible to live comfortably in the summer time. They wouldnt let us put air conditioners in the windows we needed them in to keep the main living space cool. That place was on Moonlight Drive. We were paying over 1000 a month and should be able to have a simple comfort! My friend lived in a Cheney Apt over behind the irving and she is probably going to take them to court and she actually has them on her answering machine tape saying she "asnt allowed" to have a babysitter for a few hours in her apartment every afternoon while her 7 yr old was home from school. I feel awful for her cause she had to move and she is a single mother in her 20's just trying to give her son the best!! Last I heard she spoke with a lawyer and they were in the wrong. She still needs to look over her lease carefully to be sure they had no grounds but honestly, who would want to live somewhere that they treat people like that!!!!
