I moved from out of state and have lived in large communities before. The management here has been great, with immediate attention to my concerns even minor ones like a stuck closet door. I specifically wanted a non-smoking environment and appreciate that they offered one. If you want to live some place with high standards, you'll find a few more rules, that's the way life is!
