It has only been few days that we moved into Colonial Pines (another property of TGM associates)but the level of service is quite visibly unsatisfactory. Before moving into the apartment we were told big stories of how professionally and promptly handle all the problems.But when it was time to act they had all the reasons in the world for not fixing up things on time (Things which are outsourced to a third party will take ages coz sometimes they will forget to report the problem or else will be too busy I don't know doing what' )
They will take a walk with you on the day you move in and scribble down points which you feel are not upto the mark and need some repairs/fixing. However they will not take your signatures on the paper so you really don't know what all points have been noted by them. Further more points trickle down and fall on the street and never make it to their computer system.
The management, if this is the new and the more experienced one, then I am appalled and will be wasting my time talking about their attitude and professionalism. Anyways,not that they would care what I think of them. We have also been informed that the leasing office does not communicate with the maintenance staff THEN WHO ON EARTH WILL DO THAT. IS THIS THE TENANTS JOB TO TALK AND CO-ORDINATE WITH THESE PEOPLE OR THEIR COMPANY TO GET THEIR WORK DONE. Sure it was just a evening walk in our apartment.
Also the cleaning of the apartment is a major issue. They promise to clean, paint and vaccum (or change the carpet if necessary)the apartment before anybody moves in but when we did and till this very day nobody can say if the apartment was cleaned even a week before our move in date. There were and are cob webs in all the corners, above the curtain rods, spiders and ants roam around and come out from anywhere,anytime. Their representative (I will not name the person), while taking a tour with us, was jumping and trying to take the webs off by her pen. Tried to convince us saying that it was not occupied for sometime so must have come up. Well if the apartment was cleaned up in the first place then they wouldn't have been there anyways. Its not Amazon where insects and wild life will creep into anything within a week of cleaning.
I had already ruled out this apartment community coz the reviews were awful on most of the websites but trusting our colleagues we moved in. Now we regret it.
Always trust and belive what you see.
Do not fall into any trap of discounts coz their rents are anyways not very reasonable looking at the condition of the apartments. They are selling old rack which has been polished to look new. They are charging it from your pocket and giving it back to you. They have to market it somehow otherwise nobody will take up their apartments.
Also when I went in to check the status of the remaining work order (for my apartment) they had the audacity to frown and show their disappointment. EXCUSE ME!!! WHAT IS THIS ATTITUDE FOR!!!
Its their JOB. They are not doing any favour by attending to us and listening to ur problems. Obviously we will not have a sugary tone when we are complaining. Is that their problem!!! They work with the attitude that its either their way or no way. They will take their own sweet time to work on the problems and expect you not to complain.
Another lady in the office was being sarcastic and told me that I have written a bible on the problems. WELL GOOD FOR THEM. COZ I SAVED THEIR TIME BY DOING THEIR JOB AND THEY SHOULD BE GRATEFUL TO ME.
MY ADVICE STAY AWAY. ONLY IF YOU "HAVE TO" AND YOU HAVE NO OTHER CHOICE THEN THINK ABOUT THIS PLACE OTHERWISE its a straight NO>>>>>>
