I have had nothing but poor experiences with the management at this apartment complex since I began dealing with them about a year ago. When I was looking to move to Portsmouth, NH I looked into several apartment complexes, and was in a bit of a hurry to find somewhere to live because I had to move. I dropped by and visited Patriots Park and was generally impressed with the talk I had with the front desk staff, and the pricing was okay. The paperwork that I got said that in order to see the actual apartment or an actual apartment that was occupied the staff needed to give that tenant a 72 hour notice - that's fine. I called from my then-home (2 1/2 hours from Patriots Park) to schedule an appointment and gave the staff 10 days to secure a visit for a one bedroom apartment so I could get an idea of what I would be living in. When I drove over two hours to get there for a morning appointment (because the front desk insisted they were booked at lunch time and could not do a late day appointment) nobody had bothered to get the okay for my viewing and they said they were sorry. I ended up seeing the apartment after explaining that they had had ten days to secure what they claimed they needed 72 hours to do, and that I had driven over two hours to get there for an 8 am appointment. It took until about 2pm, but I was able to see it. Since I moved in, the property manager has been convinced that she is above her "tenants" and does not hesitate to let you know she is the property manager- as if that should make a difference in any discussion about conditions in the apartment or occurrences. It is a nice clean place to live, but I could do without the staff and their mismanaged, disorganized means of getting things done - if they get things done.
