I've lived in a top floor unit at Sagamore for two years, and as far as apartments go it's pretty nice.

The Good

Location: Very close to both downtown Portsmouth and Rye beaches. Great area to walk/jog.

Maintenance: The maintenance people are awesome! They typically complete requests on the same day. Office staff is helpful, too.

Landscaping: The grounds are well manicured.

Units: The apartments themselves are pretty nice considering the age of the property. They offer extra storage space in the attic which is handy. Each room has its own thermostat that helps to keep heating costs down during the winter.

The Bad
Tennis court: Haven't seen it open since I've lived here.

Laundry: The laundry card system is frustrating. You can only put more money on your card during office hours which is inconvenient.

A/C: Installed units take awhile to cool the place down. Would be better if they let you use window units instead.
