I love it, this is a truthful review with lots of detail

Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2009
I've lived here for a little over a year now and from what i hear of other places this is a great place to live. It's clean in the halls unlike a lot of places i looked at before i moved here, they replace rugs, flooring in bath and kitchen, counter tops and paint and re-wallpaper before you move in. At least thats what they did to mine because the person who lived there before me was there for 5 years so it was due.
Maintenance is pretty quick if you need something done they can usually get to you that day if not they will be there the next morning, Staff is very friendly especially the women in the office. If there are problems in your building they will leave notices on the front door to remind people of things that should not be done. Ex. people leaving cigarette butts all over the ground. Now it does not happen. I live in a 2BR on the 3rd floor and we never hear a peep from other peoples apartments which is great. you can hear noise in the halls but once you walk into your apartment you cant hear anything. It may be different for people who have someone above them but you need to keep in mind that people may have kids or have heavy feet before you move into a ground or 2nd floor, if it gets that bad i'd rather have someone come and ask me to try not to stomp etc. I try to be considerate so I would pay more attention, i know some people are just not nice though.
Laundry: You may have trouble with laundry because they only have 2 washers and dryers and some people think it's ok to do 2 loads at once so you could be waiting a while, i think 1 load at a time so others can use a machine if need be just dont let your laundry build up and you wont have that problem of needing to do a bunch of loads.
Tenants: Overall, are pretty good but that can vary because everyone is different so you cant control that, one thing i will say is people are a little ignorant when they open their car doors, I havent had my car a year and it has many new scratches all over the doors from people carelessly knicking them with theirs. It happens to my bf's car also. Wwe know it happens here because he doesnt drive his car in the winter so it just sits in the same spot and it will have new scratches. So park far from everyone else is my advice in the corner near the trash anything.
Parking: For the most part it's not bad but there are 2 buildings i noticed that only have about maybe 30 spaces if not less (I live in one of those buildings) and when you go out on the weekend and come home say around 12am there is nooo parking left. you need to make a spot along the side of the pavement, I have suggested they make some more spaces because we have a huge front yard that doesnt get used for anything and if they added another row there would still be a large front yard from the street.
They just recently updated our Stoves which was really great except a large cookie sheet will not fit in them but they have self cleaning which is nice, and yes all apartments may have a brown fridge but i think they are slowly updating and the bathrooms do have differnt color sinks and tubs, i was told there is blue, pink, yellow and aqua the toilets are white for the most part.
Pricing: It's pretty cheap although it's $850 for the 2BR on the first floor and $885 for 2BR on the 2nd and 3rd floor and their excuse is because there is an A/C built in, well that is a lot of money for something they gets used maybe 3 months out of the year and it's not like they replace them every year, mine was old and crappy, not blowing good and i complained and they came in to fix it and couldnt so they gave me a refurbished one and that one made way too much ratiling noise and i guess it ended up leakingin the wall and into the persons apt. below and they finally gave me a brand new one which was really nice.
Windows: This has to be the worst thing about the aparments on the 2nd and 3rd floor. They have really old windows the wood ones that have the screens and storm windows that you squeeze the little metal part on each side and slid them up and down and come out easily. Well bugs get in through them, they always find a way it's not a major problem that leads to needing an exterminator but if your someone like me who hates and kind of bugs then you may freak out when a bee or any other flying bug that gets in, that is one thing i hate and wish they would fix but i understand that is a really big job for like 10 buildings. But at least it's only a seasonal thing and you can spray around the outside of the windows with bug spray and that seems to help.
Anyways the Good definatley out wieghs anything negative i would say a 99% to 1% This is a great place to live good prices, clean, never had a bug or rodent problem, seriously go look at some other places out there and then come here it is SOO much cleaner.
