I was looking at a lot of horrible reviews for apartments located in other cities (thinking of moving due to job relocation) and was wary so I decided to check out my own apartment reviews. I was shocked. The property manager (Sandy) is extremely pleasant and friendly -- not at all nosey (in my opinion). While the walls are really thin, this hasn't been an issue because all of our neighbors are very pleasant and quiet. And Scotty, the maintenance man is here at all hours, but I wouldn't say that was a bad thing at all. Once you get to know him & acknowledge him as a human being you'll soon realize that he is quite shy but very nice and accomodating to any maintenance issues you have. I love living here -- the location is great -- the only downside is dealing with the noisy Rte. 1 traffic, especially in the summer. But if I didn't have to move I certainly wouldn't. Since living here we have had new thermostats put in the apt, an updated & more efficient bathroom light/fan & shower head, as well as a brand new sliding door to the deck! Management is timely in fulfilling our requests for work that needs to be done -- we haven't had any problems whatsoever.

Sandy is not only nosey she would not hesitate to tell anyone your business. Including but not limitted to how horrible your kids are. Weather your current on rent. We were outside her office door when we went to pay rent. And we could hear her talking about other tenants financial issues with another tenant. That is not only grounds for termination it is moraly unacceptable.
If you had new thermostats put in its because the others were so out of date the inspector made them do it. And as for the bathroom fan..... It was because the older ones are to noisey

While I agree with 'anonymous' that apartment management should not have any discussions about other tenants, it should also be stated that you should always be current on your rent! It's been my experience that the people who complain often (and loudly) are the same people who don't pay their rent on time.
