While some people exaggerate (especially about the roaches! - there are no roaches here) I have lived here for almost two years and have never seen one roach, not even in the laundry room and that is where you would find them. However, on the complaint regarding the super, I agree 100%. He may take care of the building he lives in, but the other buildings do not get the same response. One major complaint I have is that it takes too long for things to get fixed. The apartments in overall are in pretty good shape with the exception that most of the bathrooms do not have a sink cabinet and the tubs are chipped. The kitchen is also out of date and the windows need to be replaced really bad. Look around the complex - some people are using sticks to make sure the windows are locked. The outside area looks pretty good. the place in general is quiet. I like living here, but I wish that maintainance would be a little faster and that the landlord would begin to modernize the place a little. Especially for those who are never late paying the rent. However, the rents are low in comparision to what some people are charging for a two-bedroom apartment. I guess I would recommend it, but you also will need patience.
