Glad to be gone

Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2007
I lived at Landings on Falcon Dr.
from Aug of 04 to September of 2007 when I moved here from out of state for a job.
When I moved in the rent was $875 and by the time I moved out it was over $1000 which is why I moved out.
My rent kept getting hire and the apartment more dingier from water and mold.
In my building on Falcon (facing California at the top of the hill closest to Fire Rd.) we had water come in from the foundation every time it rained and it would take several days for the office to have the truck come and suck up the water and if it would rain more the same thing would have to happen.
We had mold as a result of it and nothing was done to fix the floors, walls, or carpet in the closets where the water would be highest.
Other than that it was OK if you did not have to deal the office which was not often unless you had a problem, since you pay the rent to a third party.
I paid mine online to save $1 for mailing the rent and having to go get a money order when I had never written a bad check in my life.
Now I hear the office is better since the complex has new owners, they bought it right as I was moving out (September 07).
I never had a problem with other residents or experienced any vandalism and every time I called the police for noise or a fight they sent at least 2 cars in less than 5 minutes.
The pool and the tennis courts were never open and no one would want to work out around the people in the office, so that was out.
I joined Island Gym in Absecon it was close and affordable.
The complex did have people put salt down and shoveled the snow when it snowed, and kept the grounds well manicured.
If you keep to yourself it is not a bad place to live for the money and you can even have a pet.
