We moved into Woodbridge village about 4 years ago.Initially the complex seemed quite nice and safe but things have changed recently to the extent that there is some kind of crime happening here every week. Here are a few incidents that has happened here in the last 6 months.
a) An old lady staying in one of the corner apartments, got beaten up and her ornaments stolen by a couple of young guys. When she screamed, they lifted her up and put in the dumpster and left.
b) A guy got beaten up by a gang of 10-15 people in the morning when he went to do his laundry. These guys don't live in the complex obviously, since there is no security, gangs like them roam around in the complex quite freely disturbing the residents.
Oh! and the normal stuff like thin walls, noisy neighbours, poor heat and arrogant management.
But all of these were ok if at least we could sleep peacefully at night or take a walk outside without the fear of getting mugged.
c) Another guy went to do his laundry and 3 young men locked the room and beat him up, stole money from his wallet.
d) A resident returning from work was robbed at gun point right outside the complex.
e) Another couple was robbed at 7 PM when they went out to take a walk, this happened right near the swimming pool.
Incidents like these are a common occurrence here. In each of these cases, the cops were notified and the management informed. A couple of formal complaints were lodged to the management. But they don't seem to take any action.
There is a security patrol car which goes around sometimes during the day, but i am not sure what purpose it serves. It doesn't obviously deter those who sneak into the complex either to park their cars in the lonely corners and drink and cause disturbances, or those who gang up and physically assault residents.
This is becoming a very dangerous place to live and I wouldn't recomment it to anyone who is planning to move in with their wife and kids.

I am residence of same apartment. One of my friend staying in same apartment was looted at gun point inside compund. And over and above management attitude towards lease agreement is not acceptable. In general if you stay at same place more than year than you can leave the place after giving one month notice and $400/$500 penalty. But in case of middle sex management apartment you have to extend lease for one year / smaller period (which is not extendable). In case if you leave the place before expiry that you are responsible for full lease period. Looking at current economy which is not reasonable and looking at the crime rate in apartment seems to be unacceptable. Management is more greedy and less service oriented.

I currently live at the woodbridge village and I agree with the previous posting. There were several car break-ins where residents navigations were stolen and residents car windows were broken on numerous occasions. I am currently looking for a new safe place to live, because management seems to be doing nothing for our safety and just seem to focus on their money. I would not recommend anyone to reside here its to dangerous if I wanted to get robbed, beaten at gun point I would live in camden or newark.

since last 2 year I am living in woodbrdge village.since last 1 year crime has been increased a lot.So I am agrree with all above reviews.
