Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2004
After almost a year at The Willows we are only able to describe ourselves as vicims.
Victims of management, neighbors, site employees, and worst of all....pre-paying a lease.
After five court appearances and over 50 unreturned calls to the office and more than 20 calls to the police, we flee. We flee the noise, smell, rot, bugs, falling ceiling, unpainted halls, lake of rainwater outside our door, garbage on the grounds, pot holes in the parking lot, and unsecured doors that cost a grand a month and are offered under the guise of white collar community but are anything but. We flee the constant pounding of the management employee living beneath us with a sound system that shakes our floor day and night.
We flee the threats to self and property from neighbors who are asked to lower their noise after 10:00 PM so the child in our household can sleep.
No we are not leaving because the neighbors threatened to "whoop our a$$es." We are leaving to find the standard of living we were told we would would attain at the Willows. We are leaving because The Camden bus station is too similar to our living conditions.
I do have one good thing to say about The Willows. Pat, in the office is a wonderful person who has tried very hard to accomodate us. Sadly her hands are tied.
