Good enough apartment for me.

I've lived here for a year and I'm renewing with them for another year because of how big my apartment is and how convenient the location is to my work. I'm on the bottom floor and I wouldn't recommend it because it's very damp, and there's a lot of mildew, but I've heard the 2nd and 3rd floors are a lot better. The kitchen and bathroom have very old fixtures and appliances, and the quality of everything in the apartment is very cheap and poor quality. However, I have plenty of closet space and a new carpet. They're redoing each of the apartments as tenants move out, so definitely request a new one, and be sure it has a washer and dryer. The washer and dryer for me is in a room down the hall, and it is worthless...I take my clothes to the laundry mat. While I never really see my neighbors, I have seen some interesting characters hanging out in the complex, and I always keep my guard up. I've never had a problem with noisy neighbors, but it depends on the building you're in as there are a lot of families with young children or barking dogs. The maintenance staff have been great in responding to my needs 24-7, and office staff have been pretty accommodating for me, but are definitely not the nicest people I've come across. My overall experience has been alright...not the best place I've ever lived, but certainly not the worst!
